Reminds me a little bit of what Microsoft had planned with the Courier concept. I am not a big fan of touch keyboards in general but would love to try out this one, and see what kind of custom apps Toshiba has developed for it. According to <a href="http://www.eweek.com/c/a/Mobile-and-Wireless/Toshiba-Libretto-W100-Tablet-Is-Two-Slates-In-One-636107/">eWeek</a>, Toshiba will make this “two slates in one” notebook available in limited numbers “later this summer”. Here is a video from the Outlook team at Microsoft that shows what happens when a thread gets split into several threads. It took me a day to get used to it (old habits die hard) but now that I’ve got the hang of it, I wouldn’t want to miss it. Not sure if Microsoft is really working on it but it looks cool. I love working with Evernote and OneNote, but this concept would add a whole new dimension. I especially like how digital features seem to have been created to support and enhance how people actually take notes with pen and paper – instead of putting digital features first. If this is real (or becomes reality) I could see myself using this and being comfortable with it.
